The following creative concepts have been wire-framed in response to the brief to raise awareness and encourage users to download the application. The creative will promote the wide range of content that Newsloop offers via the use of banners and rich media.
The following describes four different executions of HTML5 banner formats.
Draggy - User Flow
(1.) Categories animate in to show the variation of content. The user is instructed to drag any of the categories on the device. (2.) The user interaction triggers an animation that pushes the categories and device out of the top of the screen. (3.) More detailed information appears about the category that was dragged along with a chance to watch a promotional video. The mobile device image on the screen will be dependant on the users device platform. Both iOS and Android devices will be generic but will be visually similar to the platform.
Category Specific - User Flow
(1.) This concept will load on a category that will be contextually relevant to the targeted user. Users will be able to interact with the navigation to change the content to another topic. The content in the pink area will display the relevant screen and will be supported either by animations and/or (2.) a video promoting the application. (Subject to assets availability.)
API fed - User Flow
(1.) Integrating an API to display the quality of the content allows users to get an insight into the application. This is delivered by display key imagery, category title and/or the article title. Users will tap an article to learn more. (2.) The user will be shown a preview and will be instructed that the application will contain full information. To further the promotion of the application the user can watch the promotional video.
